This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into on the date a lead order is purchased and is made between Get Rates Inc. (“Get Rates”) and the undersigned customer (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).

1. Client Obligations

The Client agrees to the following:

1.1 The Client agrees to purchase insurance lead generation services from Get Rates at pricing determined by Get Rates at the time of order.

1.2 The Client understands that lead delivery will be suspended if payment is declined or not successfully processed for any reason. Outstanding balances must be settled before lead delivery resumes. Please refer to the section on credit card chargebacks for additional details.

1.3 The Client is responsible for providing target locations or geographic criteria. Get Rates will make reasonable efforts to generate leads within the requested areas but may expand targeting parameters if necessary to fulfill the order.

1.4 The Client acknowledges that Get Rates does not control demographic or socioeconomic characteristics within any target area and accepts responsibility for evaluating market suitability.

1.5 If a postal code overlaps multiple provinces, it is the Client’s responsibility to specify any province limitations in the order notes at the time of purchase.

1.6 The Client understands that Get Rates does not control consumer behaviour, interest level, or purchasing decisions. Leads may change their intent at any time, and Get Rates is not responsible for such changes.

1.7 The Client is responsible for properly safeguarding and handling all personal information received from leads in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

1.8 The Client understands that a lead represents a potential opportunity, not a guaranteed sale. Get Rates makes no guarantees regarding conversions, sales, or revenue.

1.9 Under no circumstances shall Get Rates be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or business opportunities, resulting from the use or inability to convert leads.

1.10 Leads purchased from Get Rates may not be resold, transferred, or redistributed without prior written consent from Get Rates.

2. Order Cancellation

2.1 Lead orders must be canceled in writing (via email) before any work has commenced. Orders canceled after processing has begun are not eligible for cancellation and may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 15% per lead ordered.

3. Get Rates Inc. Responsibilities
Get Rates agrees to the following:

3.1 Get Rates does not store or retain Client credit card information in a pre-authorized or recurring payment system. Payment is processed only with the Client’s consent through a signed credit card authorization form.

3.2 Depending on the lead type purchased, leads
may be delivered as either exclusive or shared. Exclusive leads are delivered solely to the Client. Shared leads are distributed to no more than five (5) insurance brokers or agents.

3.3 Get Rates does not resell leads beyond the agreed distribution limits and does not sell, share, or disclose Client information to third parties outside of lead delivery.

3.4 Get Rates will process lead orders promptly following receipt of a completed and signed credit card authorization form. Lead delivery typically begins within 48–72 hours, though timing may vary based on lead type and availability.

3.5 Leads are delivered to the Client in real time or as soon as they are generated, depending on the selected lead product.

4. Credit Card Chargebacks

The Client agrees that:

4.1 All completed lead orders are non-refundable.

4.2 In the event of a chargeback, the Client will have two (2) business days to reverse the chargeback.

4.3 If payment remains unpaid and collection efforts are initiated, a penalty equal to two (2) times the outstanding balance may be applied.

5. Lead Replacement Policy

5.1 Get Rates will replace a lead only under the following conditions:

5.2 The lead falls outside the geographic areas specified in the order.

5.3 The lead falls outside the requested age range of 25–70, if applicable.

6. Lead Credits

6.1 In limited cases, Get Rates may provide additional leads to offset errors within a batch, at its discretion.

6.2 Lead credits are not guaranteed and are generally not offered.
